A BIT ABOUT US
Our mission is to spread the joy of imagination, physical storytelling and the moving body with audiences. We believe in wellness and creativity for people and the planet.
We are based in Manchester where we create live professional productions, run community based projects, and promote wellbeing sessions using dance, massage and yoga.
The themes of our work are inspired by the times in which we are living, dealing with pressing issues such as personal wellbeing and finding community as well as political themes such as environmental impact and responsibility.
We believe in the power of individual and collective endeavour. That empowered people make great choices. We all have a role in inspiring one another to grow, to have guts to follow our authentic heartfelt voice and harness our creativity. We know that good wellbeing is the fuel for connection and change.

Get to know a bit about us
BETH POWLESLAND
Co. Artistic Director
Her professional experience includes 2 years with internationally acclaimed Tilted Productions, 7 years with dance company Earthfall, and work with numerous independent directors including National Dance Company Wales, National Theatre Wales, Mafalda Deville (Jasmin Vardimon Company), and Theatr Iolo.
Beth is participating in an ongoing collaboration with Jo Fong; together they have travelled to perform in Canada, China, Edinburgh Fringe, British Council Showcase, British Dance Edition, and venues throughout Europe.
Beth began making her own work in 2009, in part pursuing the use of voice alongside dance. Since then she has been commissioned to sing (and dance) in a number of projects by Verity Standen, Andy Pink and Lisa May Thomas.
Beth is also a Holistic Massage Therapist, and loves working to help people feel connected, renewed and embodied through hands on bodywork.
EITHNE KANE

Eithne began her movement career by training gymnastics from a young age before discovering the North Yorkshire County Youth Dance Company and finding her ongoing passion for contemporary dance and physical theatre.She went on to train at London Contemporary Dance School where this love of dance grew into a passion for choreography, physical story telling and athletic movement styles such as floor work and partnering.
Eithne mixes freelance performance work with devising independently, and has worked with Tilted Productions, Joli Vyann, Opera North, Jorge Cresis and Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre among others.
Eithne’s gymnastic experience has increasingly brought her into the world of contemporary circus - informing her acrobatic dance fusion. Eithne also teaches yoga, a practice which has been invaluable to her in times of injury - something she feels passionate about sharing.
